This week, QPE exhibited for the first time at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics in Farnborough, Hampshire. Described as the most comprehensive annual industrial exhibition in the UK, the show attracts buyers, designers, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers and knowledge leaders from across a magnitude of industries, including electronics, energy, marine, medical, industrial, mechanics and more. QPE occupied a well-located space in the dedicated PCB design and manufacture area for the three-day event.
QPE’s Operations Manager, Mark Anderson, put together a very impressive showcase display of QPE’s capabilities, which attracted a lot of attention over the course of the exhibition. Demonstrating examples of both surface-mount and through-hole assemblies, wiring and box-builds from the marine, defence and transport sectors, the display was the starting point of a lot of great conversations with a variety of different visitors.
“We’ve had some really great conversations during the exhibition this week and we’re looking forward to developing these relationships further over the coming months. It was a fantastic first show for us and the team is definitely taking the enthusiasm and energy from the show back to QPE headquarters in Glenrothes,” said Russell Dillon, Managing Director, Quality Precision Electronics. “We’re already looking forward to our next show later on this year, of which details will be announced shortly.”
