It's been a whirlwind of a year so far, and we're sure we're not alone at being shocked to find ourselves in mid-June already!
Back in February, the QPE team returned to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics in Farnborough, Hampshire for the 3-day show. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics is without doubt one of the most important and popular engineering shows in the UK calendar, and it was great to catch up with existing suppliers and customers, as well as speak to new contacts about their PCB requirements. Due to the success of the show, QPE has committed to return to exhibit in February 2024 - watch this space for more information!
In March, Russell Dillon (QPE's MD), was thrilled to attend Nicholas' graduation from the Career Ready programme. Career Ready is a national charity whose mission is to empower young people, sustaining upward social mobility and building their social capital. For the past two years, Russell has been a Career Ready Mentor, supporting Nicholas through his developmental journey, and providing insight and guidance to enable him to meet his learning outcomes.
“It goes without saying that I am incredibly proud of Nicholas and have been totalled bowled over by his – and his colleagues’ – commitment to the programme. Well done to everyone who graduated, and I am honoured to have contributed what I can to help,” commented Russell.
In May, the QPE team attended the Electronic Components Show in Oxford. This one-day show brings together engineers and buyers to source electronic components and associated products and services.
